Cecil T. Washington is the current Pastor of the New Beginning Baptist Church. They were founded in March 1998. His education includes United Theological Seminary Extension in Flint, Michigan and William Tyndale Bible College in Detroit, Michigan. He has been married to his wife Audrey since June of 1969. He has 6 children. He has been a resident of Topeka, Kansas since March of 1985. He is also a well-respected leader in the community including being the current Chaplin of the Kansas State Legislature Senate and the House of Representatives. He is the founder and director of P.A.L.S (Prayers Answered Lives Saved) Recovery & Support Groups offering deliverance from addictive/dysfunctional behaviors. He is also the Executive Board & Founding member of Topeka City of Character.
Pastor Washington is a phenomenal author of several works including: The Triple-A Solution for Our Double-A Problem, How to Overcome Life’s Major Problem of Sin and Begin to Grow in Christ, the Seven Essential Steps in Disciple Making for Spiritual Growth and Maturity and his most recent publication of spirit-filled prayers "Lord, Can We Talk?".
