Two driving priorities for us are The Great Commandment of Jesus (Matt. 22:37-40) to love God and one another and The Great Commission (Matt. 28:18-20) to make disciples.

 

The purpose for which this church is formed is to corporately and publicly worship, praise, glorify and give thanks to the Triune God–the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; to minister the Word of God to believers; to promote fellowship among the body of Christ; and to promote evangelism at home and abroad.

 

We believe that the Bible is God’s holy and inspired word, and it is our purpose to draw from the Scriptures the principles that determine our beliefs and practices. It is the Word of God rather than the word of men that ultimately directs the church. The message we declare to young and old alike is based upon a literal, grammatical, and historical interpretation of the entire Bible. We proclaim the truths of the Bible, being confident that God s glorified and man’s needs are met when God’s truths are presented and obeyed.

 

We further believe that because The New Beginning Baptist Church is a body of believers, it is the mission of this church to make disciples.  In keeping with Matthew 8:18-20 and Acts 2:42, this church has the following major areas through which is fulfills its mission in the world.

• Prayer & Worship – bringing the believer into communion with God, hearing from Him and expressing to Him.

• Christian Education – an obedient response to the love of God through learning mediating and applying His Word.

• Fellowship – the interpersonal caring and sharing of God’s people one to another as an outgrowth of their fellowship with God.

• Outreach - touching the world with the good news of Jesus Christ and the salvation He offers.
